I know I have officially never met Dorothy Motoi of Christchurch, New Zealand, but her emails were so kind, and I am hoping, HOPING she is okay.  I have her address, and so I decided to put together a little care package for her.  One la vie Frances basket, a couple bars of soap and candles that I made, produce bags, and lavender sachets.  I know it is not much, and none of those things are essentials for surviving an earthquake.  But I know that she must have really wanted this basket, and it is something that I can easily do.  And so, if she is okay, I hope it just makes her smile.

Assuming that the baskets are ready in the next month, and that I don’t have any major problems with US customs, an end of March/early April ETA is very realistic. I’ll post an update when the shipment leaves Casablanca!  Crossing fingers for a smooth crossing this year. . .
